This was the view of Cheyenne Mountain from our neighborhood this afternoon.  The peak of the mountain is the foundation for commercial TV and radio antenna.  Contrary to popular belief, these structures do not belong to NORAD.  The North American Aerospace Defense Command is housed inside of Cheyenne Mountain.  The entrance is about two miles from our house.  NORAD is best known for its tracking of Santa every Christmas, but it has an equally important purpose of watching the skies of our borders.  In 1983 it gained notoriety by being the focus of a major motion picture called "War Games".  Rent the movie and laugh at the "technology" of the day.  Back then computer science was very new to the general populous.  Today, I have more computer power in my Iphone than NASA had in the microprocessor that sent men to the moon.  Would you like to play a game?
