Happy Columbus Day.  In 1492 Christopher sailed for two months intending to find a western route to China and India.  His journey was funded by Spain and he was the first European to explore the Americas.  He returned to Spain with spices and "Indians" to show the king and queen.   It wasn't until his third trip across the Atlantic that he realized he had not found a faster trade route to the East, but had indeed discovered a continent not yet charted.  Upon reflecting on his journeys he probably thought, "I knew I should have taken a left turn at Albuquerque".  Have you ever gotten lost even with your GPS?
