I can't think of a better way to start 2010 than with family.  We had most of our children with us.  We missed the presence of Caleena, Dan and Rozzlyn.  We spent the day playing trivia and video games and trying to recover from staying up late.  Stacie cooked the traditional southern New Year's Day meal (ham, black eye peas, and cabbage).  Later in the evening Suraj made some Napoli food that was so good.  Stacie also made bread pudding that was all gourmet.  It was so good to have Clair's family here for the past couple weeks, followed by Tim for a week, then Taco for a few days.  Tomorrow our house will be very, very empty as everyone has to go home.  My mom told me today that my aunt visited her recently.  There was 6 generations present.  How awesome is that?  She should send one of the pictures to the local newspaper.  We have so much to be thankful for and 2010 will have many things to reveal to our great country. How was your New Year's Day?
