These were about half the tulips that were in someone's yard near the top of Canyon Road.  It started raining then snowing while I was taking pictures but the ground, street, plants, and trees were all too warm for the scene to be beautifully enhanced with a white cover.  Stacie and I rode around awhile afterwards to catch a glimpse of the Cross of the Martyrs then got to fit in another garage sale.  The ride back to Colorado Springs was a mixture of rain and snow, with a little bit of sun every now and then.  I guess because we did the trip down to Sante Fe in two parts I didn't notice that it was over 300 miles from home.  We are back safe and sound getting caught up on some Tivo'd shows.  What is the farthest you've driven to go to a garage sale?
