The great thing about the summer time is that school is out and grandchildren get to visit.  You can't see it from this angle but Elijah and Rozzlyn are holding hands while they take the plunge.  They were so cute.  The water is heated, as it should be, and it was a great ending to a busy day.  Clair, Elijah, Rozzlyn, Barry, Lisa, Rai, and Barri all went to the zoo today and enjoyed the animals and the sky ride up the mountain.  We then enjoyed a leisurely dinner out back on the deck and now the sun is slowly setting over the mountain and the temperature has dropped a few degrees.  A few minutes ago I refilled the bird feeder and it didn't take long for the word to get out.  Quite a few brilliantly colored birds found the evening meal to be refreshing then they were off to spend the night in their protective homes.  It was so nice to sit outside and watch Rozzlyn play with a stick in the dirt.  It is such a lost art and kids these years don't know how to entertain themselves without a screen being involved.  Thanks Rozzlyn for bringing back those sweet memories from 45 years ago.  Now I'm enjoying the soothing sounds the zephyrs make as they pass through the leaves in the trees almost like the sound of a gentle waterfall cascading down the smooth rocks.  The adults are attending to the youngster's bed time routines and I'm typing almost in the dark but the light from the kitchen window is showing me the path to the backspace key.  Do you remember the "Nestea Plunge"?
