Happy Anniversary Becky and Gary!  Today we went up 7 Falls and then we hiked up to the Helen Hunt Jackson Inspiration Point.  It was a fairly warm day but we took the climb nice and easy.  Of course the walk back down was much easier and afterwards we enjoyed the cool 51 degree air inside the tunnel to the mountain elevator up to the observation deck.  7 Falls looks like one fall but there are 7 segments that (according to the scientists) are categorized as separate falls.  Helen Hunt Jackson was a writer that used to climb the falls and hike up to enjoy the beautiful vistas.  She died at the age of 54 and was buried just a 100 yards from the edge of the views she loved so much.  Have you read "Ramona" yet?
