After shopping, Stacie and I stopped by a modern art park adjacent to the mall.  This chrome sculpture was adorned with glass fragments and was huge. It sits nestled between parking lots and I fear that not many people have admired its beauty.   Afterwards we drove to a nearby Geocache and signed the log within a minute of arriving at ground zero.  We took Platte Street back into downtown where the sun was setting behind Pike's Peak casting warm shadows on the statue of General Palmer.  Stacie reminded me that Tuesdays are $1.25 a scoop night at a local ice cream parlor so we drove over and enjoyed the frozen treat while the sun disappeared over the Rockies.  When was the last time you went to an art museum?
