The clouds just let loose right at quitting time.  The roads filled with water really fast but all the drivers around me were very careful.  I didn't see any accidents on the way home but there were some intersections with stalled cars littering the shoulders.  There were reports of 12,000 lightning strikes in a half an hour today.  I can account for a couple hundred or so.  It all made for a cozy evening as we were able to catch up on some digitally recorded television down in the basement.  What have you saved for a rainy day?
