I took a detour home from work today because I didn't want to get caught up in any left-over traffic from the major accident along my usual route.  My drive home took me downtown and I love that area of the city.  Just yesterday we had an amazing view of all of Colorado Springs from near the top of a mountain and it was nice to see it up close and personal this evening.  The sun has set now and our neighborhood bats are flapping around chasing each other.  The stars are out and shining and the perfect 73 degree summer air is bathing us with relaxation.  Is it just me, or is this the "Leaning Pavilion of Colorado Springs"?
