Our Geocaching adventures brought us to downtown Colorado Springs today.  The trek started slowly with the first two caches going unnoticed but we quickly bounced back by finding the next 12.  As always, the iPhone application generated paper-free Geocaching so as we strolled from cache to cache Stacie read descriptions, hints, and directions vital to the discovery of the elusive containers.  We hiked for about 4 hours and found a total of 17 well hidden items.  At one point I thought we would have to cross a creek via a 20 feet high tree branch but we just used the well placed concrete steps provided by the city.  This treasure hunting activity will get you off of the couch, take you to new places, and exercise your intellect.  Have you visited Geocaching.com yet?
