I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only lazy bum this sleepy weekend.  I didn't do anything productive except cook breakfast and do dishes for the past two days.  I took in a couple of the James Bond movies from the 60's via On Demand, and updated my music library on my iPod and iPhone.  I did take my walk earlier in the day than normal and had a nice conversation with a couple neighbors enjoying the sun on their back patio. I walked another hundred feet and sat on a large rock at the edge of the fairway, where there were a few golfers taking advantage of the warm April day.  I sat perched on the boulder for about 20 minutes while I tried to learn some new things about my camera.  I took 119 pictures today and a couple High Def videos.  I shot a bunch of hazy pictures but I figured out why, so the time spent on the rock was beneficial.  After my "constitutional", Stacie and I migrated to our back deck where I'm typing this and she is reviewing her studies.  Even though I've been walking around the community and snapping hundreds of pictures, I noticed that I haven't been taking in my surroundings.  There are some thingies (technical term, Google it) that are growing out of the trees.  Stacie says they look like fuzzy caterpillars hanging from the buds on the branches.  I never noticed them and to me they appeared over night.  So I will try to be a little more observant and apply it to my photography.  Do you take time to rest, relax and renew?

  2. We had a quite week end. I took several naps and Dad took yesterday afternoon off to watch The Masters. We were so happy Mickleson won.
Looks like Anthony Kim has a promising career in golf. He came in third. Tiger came in fourth.Tiger was upset!
