Today ended an era in my family's lives and it is with great sadness and sorrow that I come to you tonight and have to say that my grandmother, Mrs. Marie Broussard, passed away.  Her life touched the hearts of all who came to know her and she will be remembered as a faithful servant to our Lord and Savior.  She was a strong and ambitious soul who never tired and always put God and family first.  She was a shining example of how to live and how to persevere no matter what happens.  I'll never forget her forgiving nature and how she always seemed to know what you needed.  Her 100 years on this earth was purposeful and despite her small frame will always be a huge influence in our journey.  "For those who went before, why are they remembered?  They held our hands, they sang us songs, they lived lives until they were gone, but not forgotten".  Momsy, you will not be forgotten.  Search your soul and find out where you stand with eternity. What legacy will you leave?
