We celebrated Stacie's mom's 70th birthday today and the family really showed their support.  There were 38 people who attended and the planning efforts by Stacie and Lisa (Stacie's oldest sister) were played out without a hitch.  They coordinated the party from over 1,000 miles away and didn't have access to the venue until an hour before the event started.  Vicky (Stacie's mom) had no idea that her whole family had converged from all over America and the secret was kept until the word surprise was yelled.  I got to meet people that I've been hearing about and everyone was cordial and friendly.  It was a wonderful celebration and family reunion.  Happy Birthday, Vicky!!!  Has anyone thrown you a surprise party?
